Valkyrae Jokes About RFLCT Controversy On Stream

Valkyrae faced a lot of backlash when she announced her new skincare brand RFLCT. The brand promised to protect users from the harmful effects of blue light that is emitted from screens, However, internet wasn;t convinced.

The Twitter trolls started calling out Valkyrae and said that her skincare brand RFLCT was based on ‘pseudo science’ and had not scientific evidence. The backlash grew to such a magnitude that Valkyrae had to terminate her RFLCT brand.

RFLCT Drama Made Valkyrae Depressed

Valkyrae did a ‘tell-all’ stream (which she now regrets) with fellow streamer Mizkif and it did not sit well with Pokimane who called out Mizkif for his intentions behind doing a stream with Valkyrae.

She also revealed last week that the whole RFLCT drama had made her depressed and she was seeing a therapist. She told that the ‘mental damage’ and trauma was too much to handle and she is seeing a therapist for recovery.

“[After the RFLCT controversy], I became very depressed. I have depression,” the star continued. “I’ve really been having a bad time… I do think I have mental damage from all of this, for sure. I got very lucky in that there wasn’t a lawsuit [for the break] or anything, but I’m still in a terrible mental place.

Valkyrae is one of the top female streamers on the planet and she knows how to make a comeback when needed.

In one of her latest streams, she was seen joking on herself and her RFLCT drama. When a fan asked ‘how are your eyes blue wtf’, Valkyrae responded in a humor filled way.

“You see, I used so much of my blue light cream, it just infused with my eyeballs, and now I have blue eyes. Now I deflect blue light from screens automatically.”

She even went on to joke that “you guys missed out, you could have blue eyes too,” and her viewers loved it.
