Ciara and Russell Wilson Welcome Their Baby Boy, Win Harrison Wilson

Ciara has become a mom for the third time! The Level Up singer and her husband, Russell Wilson welcomed their new born baby boy, Win Harrison Wilson this Friday. According to sources, their son’s middle name holds special significance as it is a nod to the NFL star’s late father, Harrison Wilson.

“So grateful for our baby boy. WIN is a blessing”

The couple broke the good news on Friday, July 24, by sharing a first look at Ciara and her newborn son via social media for fans. The 34 year old singer posted a clip of her holding baby Win in her hospital bed shortly after his arrival. The actress looked emotionally overwhelmed as she sang “Happy Birthday” to her “sunshine” from under a mask.

“Happy Birthday WIN!!! Mommy & Daddy Love You! Win Harrison Wilson 7.23.2020 8lbs 1 oz.❤️ ????????,” wrote the singer alongside the sweet clip.

Wilson also shared a hospital selfie with his wife to commemorate the special day. In the photo, Wilson smiles alongside Ciara as baby Win is wrapped up on his mother’s chest. Ciara wrote a loving message to her husband underneath the sentimental pic, congratulating them both on welcoming their new son into the world. “Love you so much honey. We did it baby! So grateful for our baby boy. WIN is a blessing,” wrote Ciara in a note to her husband. “He looks just like you. Daddy’s baby Mommy’s maybe ????????”

Russell also posted a separate picture with baby Win on his father’s chest, captioning the adorable father-son photo, “We Winning.”

Ciara’s Surprise Pregnancy Announcement

Baby Win is Ciara’s second child with the NFL quarterback, following their first daughter together, Sienna Princess Wilson. Ciara also shares her eldest, six-year-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn, with her ex, Future.

The couple announced baby number three was on the way in late January. They surprised fans with a stunning photo of the third-time-mom-to-be in a bikini, showing off her bare baby bump. She simply captioned the photo, “Number 3,” from their vacation in Turks and Caicos Islands . Wilson also shared a version of the photo, taken instead as a selfie with his wife in the background.

Gender Reveal Celebrations

The happy couple, who wed in July 2016, revealed the gender of their little one in April with the help of their kids. “YEAH!” Little Future screamed excitedly in the video shared to Wilson’s Twitter account, clearly stoked about getting a baby brother as he ran around the yard.

Over the last several months, Ciara has graced her fans with mesmerizing snapshots in which she bared her baby bump for the camera.

“Truly a challenging time for expectant mothers”

Although the couple is clearly ecstatic at the healthy birth of their son, Ciara’s pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic presented more bumps along the road than she was expecting. In a recent interview with British Vogue, the singer explained how she had to be ‘very careful’ throughout her pregnancy.

“Ultrasound visits during this era of Covid-19 is a bummer because my hubby @DangeRussWilson can’t come in with me to my visit. Truly a challenging time for expectant mothers,” wrote Ciara on social media. She followed it by another video of Wilson Face Timing into one of her ultrasounds.
