Lea Michele called A ‘Horrible Human Being’ by Broadway co-star Craig Ramsey
Lea Michele seems to be controversy’s favorite child at the moment. The Glee actress was slammed yet again by one of her co-stars.
Craig Ramsay has slammed Lea for being a “horrible” human being while they were working together on Broadway. Craig, who worked with Michele on a production of Fiddler on the Roof, seemed very upset while recalling the actress’s behavior. Ramsay has joined the growing list of celebrities who have accused Michele of making their lives miserable when they worked with her.
In the latest episode of the “Behind The Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast, Ramsay opened up about his own experience with the actress. He started by saying that he did not want to hear Michele’s name during the interview because she is a “despicable” human being.
“She is a despicable, horrible human being”
“I just did not want to hear Lea Michele’s name in this interview. At all! I think she is a despicable, horrible human being. I think she has lost touch with reality.” Ramsay said.
Later in the interview, Ramsay noted that he was present when Michele got the call for “Glee.” He shared that as soon as she got the part in the series, her behavior changed. He claimed that the Scream Queens star got an ample amount of “entitlement” after getting the part and moving to Los Angeles.
”I was there when she got the call of, ‘I got Glee,’ and I think the entitlement just came over her body. She was possessed with this.”
However, The actor admitted that Michele is undeniably talented. “I cared for her greatly, but the amount of entitlement. And she is talented, do not get me wrong. She is more talented than the gigs she did the last ten years. But that does not matter if no one wants to work with you,” Ramsay said.
Previous co-stars who have called Lea out
Ramsay’s comments come after a number of Michele’s former “Glee” co-stars called her out on social media. Samantha Ware recently opened up that Michele did not like her from day one and it was very “evident.” Ware even went as far as to claim Lea “made her life a living hell”.
Other celebrities like Keith Powell, Heather Morris, Gerard Canonico, and Aviva Drescher have also criticized Michele for her behavior. Trans model Plastic Martyr also recently alleged that Michele made her feel like a “circus freak”, while she was transitioning.
Michele’s apology
Lea Michele released an apology on Instagram after Ware’s statement went viral. “While I don’t remember ever making this specific statement and I have never judged others by their background or color of their skin. That’s not really the point. What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people,” said the Glee actress.
“Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times. Or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult. I apologise for my behavior and for any pain which I have caused.”
She concluded the message saying, “We all can grow and change. I have definitely used these past several months to reflect on my own shortcomings.”
