Instagram adds a remembrance mark to Sushant Singh Rajput’s account

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s account on Instagram has been memorialised after his demise last week!

It has been five days since the demise of the actor Sushant Singh Rajput. But the sad news still feels so fresh and raw. His fans and colleagues are remembering the actor every day as we get to hear condolence statements everyday from some or the other actor.

Amid our social media being flooded with memories of Sushant, Instagram has paid a tribute to the late actor. The social media platform has memorialised the account of the late star. They have added a ‘Remembering’ mark to his profile, which displays whenever someone opens his account.

For those who don’t know, memorialised accounts are a way to remember someone after they have passed away. While no one can log into a memorialised account, the posts shared stay on Instagram and are visible to the audience they were shared with.

Talking about the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14th. The news came as a shock to the entire entertainment industry. His last rites were performed in Vile Parle on and his ashes were immersed in Ganga in Patna, Bihar yesterday.

Meanwhile, the police has been investigating the case. It was yesterday when Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty went to the police station to give her statement.

Sushant was last seen in the film Drive, which was released directly on Netflix. Earlier, he was seen in the film Chhichhore which was a huge success at the box-office. Apart from the love from the audience, the film had got critical acclaim as well. The actor still has one un-released film – Dil Bechara which is based on John Green’s novel The Fault In Our Stars.
