Vicky Kaushal announces the direct digital debut of Sardar Udham in October
Vicky Kaushal shocked his fans on Thursday by announcing the direct release of his much-anticipated film Sardar Udham on Amazon Prime Video.
The actor used his social media account to share a new poster for the picture, which revealed the title as well as the film’s release month. Vicky will play the titular character in the film ‘Sardar Udham,’ which is based on the biography of rebel Sardar Udham Singh. It will debut in October of 2021.
New Poster Out
Vicky uploaded the new poster on his Instagram account, which showed a foggy London sky. Vicky, who shared the poster, wrote: “As we present you the narrative of a revolutionary, my heart is full with love. Watch @primevideoin’s #SardarUdhamOnPrime this October.” Sardar Udham Singh, who shot General Dyer in London to revenge the deaths of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar in 1919, stars in the film. Vicky will appear in the film as a revolutionary.
Have a Look At the poste
In addition to Vicky, the film also features Banita Sandhu and Amol Parashar. The film was shot in many locations and was set to be released in theatres earlier this year. Vicky’s film, however, has gone over the top due to the current COVID 19 pandemic. In October 2021, the film will be released on Amazon Prime Video. While the exact release date has yet to be announced, Vicky Kaushal fans are looking forward to seeing him in yet another patriotic film.
Shoojit Sircar directs the film, which also stars Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. It was told earlier this month that the film will be released on Dussehra 2021.
The movie was made in Russia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and North India. Vicky plays Sardar Udham Singh, who wants to murder Michael O’Dwyer in revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919.
