The Immortal Ashwathama Starring Vicky Kaushal And Sara Ali Khan Postpones Overseas Shooting

Director Aditya Dhar’s upcoming project titled The Immortal Ashwatthama is facing operational hiccups and had to push back its plans to film the overseas scenes! Why?

Well, due to the second wave of coronavirus, the director had to postpone his plans until July. Dhar has no choice but to move the schedule forward for a second time, many said. While concerns about coronavirus and flooding in Europe are prominent causes for the delay, the main factor behind this postponement is the duration it takes to obtain the visa.

Upcoming Movie

The Immortal Ashwatthama features Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan and is set to begin filming in Europe once all regulatory hurdles are passed and the team members get their visas.

According to a daily report, if everything goes as per the plan, director Dhar plans to get going with the shoot of The Immortal Ashwatthama in August in Europe. Star cast is awaiting visa approval, which is taking longer than usual due to the pandemic.

Filming Location

Aditya will start by scouting locations with a small group. He has not yet determined which countries and places will be used in the movie and anything may change depending on the situation in Eastern Europe.

When the global checks are completed, the entire team will join them. Vicky Kaushal is expected to start shooting from mid-August to late August, following Mr Lele’s completion.

The director has spent the last six months honing the storyboard in order to ensure that the part mythical half sci-fi production runs smoothly from start to end.
