Tramlines 2021 Festival To Be Held In July, No Social Distancing And Masks Needed

Sheffield’s Tramlines Festival is expected to continue next month at complete capacity as the third phase of the government’s pilot events program is underway.

ERP saw the audience visit events in Liverpool, the BRIT Awards and the Download Festival to investigate the safety of large crowds returning to events after the coronavirus fiasco around the globe.

Negative COVID Test Needed

The sold-out crowd will now head to Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park from July 23-25 to enjoy jam packed performances from the likes of Royal Blood, The Streets and Richard Ashcroft.

To obtain admission inside the venue, the ticket holders must show proof of a negative result of COVID test from a lateral flow test conducted 48 hours ago, or proof of complete vaccination including the second dose received at least 14 days before the first day of the festival visit.

Festival Going Ahead

Tramlines Director of Operations Timm Cleasby said: “We are very pleased to be able to ensure that Tramlines 2021 continues, as we have accepted the government’s invitation to join the Events Pilot Program.”

‘This means that we have a proven framework to follow, which in previous events has shown that the festivals like ours can be enjoyed.’

No Restrictions Inside The Festival Venue

“Once you are inside, there will be no need for social exclusion and no one will wear a mask if they do not want to.”
