Tom Holland Celebrates the Success of No Way Home with a BTS Video of the Premiere

Tom Holland has shared a behind-the-scenes video from Spider-Man: No Way Home’s premiere in Los Angeles last week to celebrate the film’s success. Since Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios/No Sony’s Way Home has proven to be the most anticipated MCU picture (2019).

Since its December 17th release, Spider-Man: No Way Home has managed to rack up incredible box office numbers and received rave reviews from both crowds and reviewers. In addition to Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch, and a slew of familiar faces from Sony’s Spider-Man past star in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Peter Parker (Holland) asks Doctor Strange (Cumberbatch) to assist mitigate the impact of his identity reveal in Spider-Man: Far From Home’s credits scene in the last episode of the Homecoming trilogy, which capitalizes on the MCU’s ever-evolving multiverse idea. As a result, the ex-Sorcerer Supreme performs a spell that causes an unknown number of individuals to forget Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Unfortunately, the spell backfires, bringing Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Lizard (Rhys Ifans), and a few more familiar faces into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Holland turned to Instagram to show his gratitude to his colleagues and fans as theatres around the world remain packed. His post includes an edited behind-the-scenes video of No Way Home’s star-studded premiere set to George Benson’s “Give Me The Night.”

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson himself congratulated Holland on No Way Home’s “historic win” in the comments section, as seen above. No Way Home is, in many respects, the apex of superhero cinema. While Spider-Man has always been at the forefront of his field, Sam Raimi’s trilogy paved the way for comic book films to become what they are today.

No Way Home is both the largest picture of 2021 and an ode to superhero cinema, thanks to Disney/Marvel Studios/rare Sony’s ability to bring almost two decades’ worth of famous villains together, along with their respective Spider-Men.
