Timothée Chalamet’s Spider-Man Image Edit Makes Him Super-Cool Peter Parker

A fan artist has recreated Timothée Chalamet as Spider-Man beside Zendaya’s MJ from Spider-Man: No Way Home in a promotional image.

Dune follows Paul Atreides when his father, a government official, is assigned to the desert planet Arrakis in an attempt to disrupt him. While war gets angry on the planet’s surface, Paul must overcome his anxiety and rescue his family’s future.

In addition to Chalamet and Zendaya, the film stars Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, and Josh Brolin. It also defeated its Warner Bros. peer, The Suicide Squad, by $1 million on its opening night box office.

Timothee Chalamet as Spider-Man

Zendaya, who portrays Chani in Dune, is having a fantastic year. She will reprise her role as MJ in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the third installment in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy, in addition to appearing in the sci-fi epic.

The fourth film in Phase 4 and the 27th overall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is planned to hit theatres on December 17, 2021. In addition to Zendaya and Holland, the film will feature villains from earlier Spider-Man continuities like Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock and Jamie Foxx’s Electro, which director Jon Watts has called “the Avengers: Endgame of Spider-Man films.”

Samuel Cheve, a Parisian artist and graphic designer, shared a piece of crossover artwork on Instagram that brighten Entertainment Weekly’s Dune cover photo with Zendaya and Chalamet. The artist is known for his mashups, with prior works including Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man as Venom and Mulan as a Squid Game contestant. This time, he used Zendaya’s fantastic fall season to picture what it would be like if Chalamet took Holland’s place as the Peter Parker to her Michael Jackson.

The artist also provided a sneak peek at the initial images, allowing viewers to see how far the actors have come in becoming their Spider-Man selves.

Cheve significantly changed the planned “fashion shoot at sunset” mood by adding a cityscape background and dressed Chalamet in classic Spidey lycra. At first glance, those scrolling through their Instagram feeds may believe this was an actual shot from a Marvel film.
