The Season 8 trailer for Brooklyn Nine-Nine matches the MCU’s opening logo

The iconic opening logo of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was referenced in a teaser trailer for the upcoming final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The cop comedy featuring Andy Samberg as Detective Jake Peralta premiered in 2013 on FOX. Following a massive social media effort to preserve the series, Brooklyn Nine-Nine was infamously cancelled by FOX after its fifth season, only to be picked up by NBC one day later.

The eighth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine was confirmed in February as the show’s final season, increasing the sitcom’s total episodes to a massive 153. Fans are now looking forward to the eighth and final season of the comedy series, which will premiere on NBC on August 12th with two back-to-back episodes.

The official image for the last season was recently posted on the Brooklyn Nine-Nine Instagram account, along with a video of Joel McKinnon Miller (who plays Detective Scully) putting together a jigsaw, giving fans a first look at season 8.
