Marvel Cinematic Universe has made up for the dry spell last year where we got no content from the MCU during the pandemic imposed lockdown. Marvel came in strong with a scheduled content from the MCU almost every week.

We saw the beginning of Marvel’s amazing work in WandaVision first. Followed by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and Black Widow all within the first seven months of this year. The movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantamania will also be connected to the show.

We also saw Marvel teasing the upcoming Thunderbolts in the already released movies and series. The team will reportedly feature Yelena Belova, Helmut Zemo, John Walker, etc.

Upcoming Marvel Ventures 2021

What If..?

Marvel Studios will be releasing its What If…? series on August 11th. The finale of Loki season 1 established the arrival of Natasha Romanoff again after the creation of the multiverse. The new trailer for the series gave us glimpses of characters like Captain Carter, Doctor Strange, T’challa and the Marvel Zombies.

There will be alternate realities in this series that will feature T’Challa as Star-Lord. This, however, will be possible because Killmonger rescues Tony Stark in Afghanistan, and Peggy Carter takes the super-soldier serum.

Shang-Chi And the Legend Of the Ten Rings

This Marvel venture will include the real Mandarin and showcase martial arts action-filled origin for the new superhero. The trailer of the movie also reveals the return of Abomination. Shang-Chi is set to release on September 3rd.

This venture is directed by the recent Oscar winner Chloe Zhao. The movie will revolve around a group of powerful immortal characters. Eternals were created by the celestials. This Marvel venture is set to release on November 5th.

This movie is also rumoured to have Jamie Fox’s Electro from Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Alfred Molina’s Doc Oak. The crossover is expected because of the multiverse being opened in Loki season 1. Spider-Man: No Way Home will also feature multiversal travel to set up these characters. The movie will be released on December 17th.

This Disney+ series will have Jeremy Renner reprising his role as Clint Barton to train his daughter, Kate Bishop, who will be the new Hawkeye in the MCU. Hailey Steinfield will be playing the role of Kate.

Hawkeye possibly might have a cameo from Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova as apparent by the Black Widow post-credits scene. Marvel is yet to announce a release date for the series, however, they did confirm that the show will be dropping in late 2021.

Ms. Marvel

The Disney+ series will see Kamala Khan who will be played by Iman Vellani. It is set to release in late 2021.
