The Masked Singer Alum Raven-Symoné Shares Her 28 lbs Weight-loss Journey

Raven-Symoné says she has a “completely different face going on,” but it has nothing to do with plastic surgeons! The star is on her journey to lose weight.

“Pounds down, pounds down. Check out the chin,” the Cheetah Girls alum, 35, said in an Instagram Live video on Saturday, May 29.

While she and her wife Miranda Pearman-Maday were driving, Raven jumped on Instagram Live, where they shared she was cutting down pounds slowly.

Pounds Down Journey

“Do you see that chin?” the former View cohost said as she saw her face on the screen. “If y’all watch Raven’s Home literally right now, and then come on this live and see this joint, I got a whole different face going on. It’s a whole pounds down journey

Masked Singer alum has revealed how much she have lost in her body weight so far. “Just so you know, I’m 28 lbs. down. I have lost the weight, a s-t tons of weight, ”she added.

The Disney Channel star isn’t done with her weight loss journey yet, either. “I’m doing a 48-hour fast every now and then , so you know, we’re on that trip right now,” Raven said.

Experience Of Being A Child Artist

As a child actor, Raven was considered fit for her weight from an early age. She pointed out that even people on The Cosby Show, where she had been on for almost three to seven years if her age, emphasized her in eating less food.

“I remember not being able to have the bagel or anything at — we would call it crafty, where it’s just a table of food, ready for you to eat whatever you want,” she said on The View in 2015. “And I remember people would be like, ‘You can’t eat that. You’re getting fat!’ I’m like, ‘I’m 7! I’m hungry!’”

During this time, however, she is supported by her wife. Raven married Miranda in a surprise ceremony in June 2020. “I married to a woman who understands me from dawn to dusk, from breakfast to midnight, from the stage to home,” Symoné had her marriage announcement done on social media at the time.

They have not yet hit their one-year anniversary, but the two are already planning their future.

“I want four children,” Raven told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, May 26. “I want to make sure the dinner table parties and holiday parties are full of excitement and fun.… As long as we have one child, I feel like it’s not enough to be distracted.
