Swara Bhaskar is one of Kangana Ranaut’s most active and vocal opponents on opinions. Kangana’s latest salvo, which was a mistake for an elderly protester at a farmers’ protest in Delhi, left Swara incredibly angry. “Atrocious comments,” says Swara.
“I think Kangana has now become synonymous with spewing poisonous fiction, most of what she tweets, whether about history or current affairs are fiction cooked up and driven by a particular agenda.”
In this case Kangana not only did not know the rallyist well but also revealed that she was present at any meeting for large protests such as the CAA-NRC in Shaheen Bagh in Delhi for Rs 100.
To this Swara says, “The thing that bothers me is her complete lack of respect for the elderly. Her comments to Jaya Bachchanji and other top actors were not at all pleasant and not at all respectful and badtameez. She has spread slander against Bilkis Bano and Shaheen Baugh Dadis and what she said about Mahinder Kaur ji was also not just a false lie but an to say about an old farmer that ‘she is available for 100 Rupees.’ It’s just sickening! Not acceptable at all. ”
Swara praised the singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh as the commendable act one by Diljit Dosanjh was worth it. He spoke against Kangana’s hate-filled tweet towards the farmers of the nation.
“Kudos to Diljit by calling her out and not letting the matter slip. Taapsee Pannu, Richa Chadha and I have called her in the past and it is good to see a star standing in Diljit’s stature taking part in this. ”
Swara requested Kangana to atleast spare the elderly. “If Kangana wants to fight let there be people of her time, I am happy to keep her engaged. But I ask her to please spare the elderly with such bad nonsense. I will say to her again, Thakk Jaa Behen! ”
