Spider-Man: No Way Home is the most cinematic superhero film

Following the release of the new trailer, Tom Holland stated that Spider-Man: No Way Home “exceeds expectations in every way.” Holland has played Peter Parker/Spider-Man since his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War in 2016, and he made his solo debut in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017.

He had cameo appearances in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame before starring in Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019. Now, Holland reprises his role as Spider-Man in the last chapter of the “Home” trilogy, which was co-produced by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.

The second trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home just dropped, giving fans another look at the upcoming superhero film.

The trailer teased a number of returning villains from the Spider-Man film universe, including Green Goblin and Doc Ock from Sam Raimi’s Tobey Evans Spider-Man films, as well as The Lizard and Electro from Marc Webb’s Andrew Garfield-led Spider-Man films. Despite the fact that no video of Maguire or Garfield was shown, rumours have circulated that they may feature in the film alongside Holland, which would satisfy many fans.

“This movie exceeds expectations in every way possible. This is the most cinematic, theatrical superhero movie that has ever been made and I’m proud to say that Sony & Marvel have pulled off the impossible.”

On November 16, Holland attended the trailer reveal fan event, and Screen Rant was in attendance for the post-trailer chat with Holland and the cast when the actor revealed his excitement for the picture.

The actor described Spider-Man: No Manner Home as the “most cinematic, theatrical superhero movie that has ever been done,” saying it “exceeds expectations in every way possible.” Spider-Man: No Way Home, like Eternals and Shang-Chi: The Legend of the Ten Rings, will only be released in theatres, thus Holland’s usage of the phrase “theatrical” is significant. This is in contrast to Black Widow, which will most likely be the last Marvel film to have a day-and-date release.
