SNSD’s Taeyeon, Gaho, and Others to Sing the OSTs in Jun Ji Hyun’s Upcoming Series “Mount Jiri”

The intriguing OST selections for tvN’s much-anticipated mystery-thriller series “Mount Jiri” has been revealed!

These biggest personalities in the Korean music industry will donate their talents to sing for the official soundtracks of the series “Mount Jiri”.

The next drama has already received a lot of positive feedback ahead of its premiere. Aside from the star-studded cast, the debut OST lineup features a diverse group of musicians. In the second half of 2021, “Mount Jiri” is likely to be amongst international audiences.

But that’s before they’ve even seen a single one of the show’s spellbinding episodes. A-Story, the production company behind “Mount Jiri,” has released the names of the Korean singers who will perform on the drama’s OSTs.

They are made up of Taeyeon, the leader of SNSD, Kim Jong Wan, and Gaho. These three names are already causing a stir in the online community, and because they have previously produced such wonderful works, the drama’s expectations are already sky-high.

Taeyeon’s OSTs, such as “A Poem Titled You,” “If,” and “Can You Hear Me,” were well-received by music enthusiasts. Then, NELL’s Kim Jong Wan took part in OSTs for the dramas “The Tail of a Gumiho” and “She Would Never Know“.Finally, Gaho gained a reputation for himself by singing the OST for ‘Itaewon Class‘s ‘Start Up.’

Gaemi, a great composer, will serve as the series’ music director. Gaemi’s close friend and collaborator Lee Eung Bok will be directing “Mount Jiri.” Indeed, the two have previously collaborated on “Descendants of the Sun” and “Sweet Home.”

Gaemi has written and produced several classics, including “When the Camellia Blooms,” “The World of the Married,” and “Love in the Moonlight,” which are all well-known Korean dramas that most viewers have seen.

The mystery series “Mount Jiri” follows a group of people as they attempt to climb the mountain Jiri’s uncharted terrain. Jun Ji Hyun and Ju Ji Hoon, who previously worked together on Netflix’s original series “Kingdom: Ashin of the North,” round out the excellent cast. Oh Jung Se, the star of “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay,” veteran actor Sung Dong Il, “Youth of May” star Go Min Si, and others will be joining them on board.
