Selena Gomez Shares Rare Pictures With Taylor Swift As She Misses Her

Selena Gomez is looking back at her time that she spent with BFF Taylor Swift. The singer posted a series of rare pictures of the two on her social media handle.

In the photos, the singers are seen snuggling with Taylor’s cat, Benjamin Button. The Lose You To Love Me singer captioned the photos as she shared that she is missing this one. She had previously shared the first picture on her Instagram stories back in 2019.

At that time, Selena had captioned it writing, “My ride or die. I would die for this one. Thank you for forever being by my side. You have taught me so much, walked through all of this with me, STAYED and you remind me to be a better, human being. I’m on your side for life.”

The BFFs don’t usually post pictures with each other but they have been friends for over a decade. The Rare Beauty founder had revealed how they met during an interview with KIIS FM UK. She shared that they both dated the Jonas brothers together and it was “hysterical”.

Selena used to date Nick Jonas while Taylor had been with Joe Jonas. “It was amazing because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked,” Gomez added. “It was the best thing we got out of those relationships.”

“…seeing Taylor react that way was one of the sweetest moments.”

During an appearance in 2019 on 103.5 KTU’s Carolina with Greg T. in the Morning, Selena shared how her bond with the Folklore singer has turned really personal. The singer revealed that the Grammy winner is the one person in her life she trusts to run her projects by. She said it is without the fear of them getting leaked.

“When I got the videos [for “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now”], I got to go and show her and her parents,” Gomez recalled. “And it was so cute because we all got on the couch and all the lights were turned down, and just seeing Andrea, her mom, and seeing Taylor react that way was one of the sweetest moments.”

The BFFs have supported each other through thick and thin. Selena also refers to herself as a “major fan” of Taylor. She shared how the singer had shared Fearless before it came out. The Rare singer revealed, “And I remember that feeling because ever since then, we have been best friends. And to see where I am and for her to see where I am is such a beautiful … it’s just so great.”

Taylor had also gushed about Selena’s new music as she appeared on Apple Music’s Beats 1. She shared with host Zane Lowe that Lose You To Love Me is the best thing Selena has done. The Cardigan singer said, “I’m so proud of her. She’s been through so much. I’ve watched so much happen in her life and had a front-row seat to so much, and I’m so proud of her.”

She further added that Selena is a revelation because she is making her best stuff. The singer explained, “I am 100 percent convinced this is the best thing she’s done so far. Just from my perspective as her friend, I’ve just never been more proud. The things that she’s overcome, the situations that she’s risen above.”

Fans are already speculating if this is a possibility of them collaborating together. Some of the fans pointed out certain clues from both their music videos and the caption Selena used. They believe they are seemingly dropping hints at their first collaboration.
