Season 3 of Umbrella Academy wraps filming with a cast video

The showrunner of Umbrella Academy creates a new video to mark the end of season 3 production. The superpowered Hargreeves brothers gather to seek the truth behind their father’s unexplained death, while also attempting to save the world from an oncoming disaster, in Netflix’s popular adaptation of Gerard Way’s comic book series of the same name.

The Umbrella Academy has been a streaming hit for Netflix, with its second season becoming the sixth most-watched show of 2020, led by Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castaeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Cameron Britton, and Mary J. Blige.

Season 3 has a lot of people excited after the various bombshells that season 2 threw on viewers. Fans have been waiting for any hints about the storyline involving the Sparrow Academy and the effects of the Hargreeves’ involvement with the timeline since the show began filming earlier this year.

However, there have been no firm details about the third season so far, despite the fact that the stars of The Umbrella Academy have teased various updates about the show’s production status throughout the months. Page reported last week that filming on The Umbrella Academy season 3 was nearing completion, and it now appears that the cast has crossed the finish line.

Wrap Of Umbrella Academy

The showrunner of The Umbrella Academy, Steve Blackman, shared a video to Instagram stating that season 3 production is complete. Page particularly mentions that he is “stoked” because he “can’t wait” for fans to watch the new season in the film, which features the show’s actors expressing their joy at the completion of the show.

The clip doesn’t contain any Easter eggs, but it does feature Justin H. Min and Colm Feore, whose characters, Ben and Reginald, have their deaths reversed in The Umbrella Academy season 2 final

What’s next for the Hargreeves siblings will most likely remain a mystery until season 3 premieres. The Umbrella Academy has a history of keeping plot details for next seasons under wraps, and there’s no reason to think that would change this time.

Fans may discover a little more about season 3 when the promotional campaign, which includes teasers and trailers, kicks out. Given that filming has already concluded, this should happen soon. We should expect a release date sometime early next year, since the show now needs to spend time in post-production to perfect its top-notch VFX and visuals.
