
Season 2 Of Sports Anime Series Yowamushi Pedal Coming To Netflix In October
Netflix US has announced the released date for the second season of sports-focussed anime series ‘Yowamushi Pedal’.
Yowamushi Pedal first arrived on Netflix in September 2021. The release was later than originally scheduled but has performed well-enough to get renewal for Season 2.
Season 1 of the show had a total of 38 episodes.
Season 1 Storyline
Season 2 of the anime series is expected to hit Netflix US on October 1, 2021. It will pickup from where the previous season left off and is labelled as ‘Yowamushi Pedal Grande Road’.
Yowamushi Pedal is a story that revolves around a young boy who has newly joined the cycling club in his school and now he is experiencing various aspects of the sports, thanks to his friends and passion!
What Happens In Season II?
The friends of the the young boy help him face tough challenges to develop his racing talent.

Meanwhile, Netflix Japan and Netflix South Korea boast a total of four seasons of the anime. Whether they will all drop on Netflix US or not remains to be seen.
Anime Distribution
Likewise, the anime movie is only available on Netflix Japan too but was scheduled to hit Netflix US but didn’t drop.
Discotek Media is the distributor for Yowamushi Pedal in North America region. Anime rights and distribution often involves a lot of complexities and hence, each Netflix region gets different seasons of a show at different times.
