Sara will be shown doing severe physical training with the Veerangana Force, India’s first female commando team dedicated to combating escalating crimes against women in Assam.
After a year of training in Tamil Nadu, Veerangana Force was activated in November 2012. They are an Assam Police commando team made up of women.
They’ve been taught in ‘silent drill,’ a technique used only by US marines, as well as martial arts, biking, horseback riding, and the use of weaponry to combat eve-teasers and anyone attempting to harm women’s modesty.
They are dressed in black outfits with violet caps.
Sara posted a video with a bandage on her nose last week, which she later removed to reveal a bleeding nose. In the caption of the photo, the actress wrote, “Sorry Amma Abba Iggy Naak kaat di maine.” Sara affectionately refers to her younger brother Ibrahim Ali Khan as “Iggy.” In the comments area of the post, fans expressed their concern and inquired if she was okay.
