Salman Khan Levels Up Legal Action Against Kamaal R Khan
On Tuesday, the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan filed a court application to take a contempt action against the self proclaimed actor-critique Kamaal R Khan for what he continues to do, in return of his commitment to not defame the Radhe:Your Most Wanted Bhai actor.
The application was submitted as part of an ongoing defamation lawsuit filed by Salman Khan’s team.
The Background
The defamation lawsuit was filed seeking to restrain KRK from making any content on him, his business ventures and films, and other projects.
The libel suit was brought to court last month, when the actor turned critique KRK’s lawyer, Manoj Gadkari argued that his client would not have abusive or defamatory message or statements or comments directed at the actor Salman Khan at the hearing.
Salman had filed a complaint against KRK based on his comments in the video of his review of the recently released film Radhe.
Contempt Action
On Thursday, June 7, Salman Khan’s lawyer Pradeep Gandhi clearly said the judge, Additional Sessions that despite the assurance from KRK’s advocate, Kamaal continues to publish defamatory tweets.
Gandhi also claimed that it was in contempt of court, and has filed applications for a contempt suit against Kamaal R Khan.
The court heard the arguments on the application and will be hearing the same on June 11. Until then, the earlier statement made by advocate Manoj Gadkari will continue.
KRK’s Message To Salman Khan
KRK on Tuesday posted on Twitter that he did not know at all some of the people who spoke ill of him, using the language of ‘their gawar boss (uneducated boss).’
He wrote in Hindi, “What kind of Bollywood goon are you, you have to take the support of a flop artist, a struggling and unknown model and a useless Bigg Boss competitor. You’re scared. But I now have you in my sight, I will not waver, no matter how hard you try.”
