Rose Leslie Reveals How Thrilled She Is To Be Expecting A Baby

Rose Leslie opened up about her first pregnancy and how her and husband, Kit Harington cannot wait to meet the little bundle of joy.

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are expecting their first baby together and the new mother has finally opened up about the news. The actress said she is thrilled to be expecting in an interview. She added that she cannot wait to meet the new member of their family.

This marks the first time the couple has addressed their pregnancy after it only being referred to in the latest edition of Make Magazine. The article said, “Not many people can pull off a Stella McCartney floor-length silk frock and a fashion shoot when expecting a baby but Rose Leslie shows no sign of fatigue.”

There were no quotes from the new mom-to-be on any information about her trimester. The actress is currently promoting her latest movie which is an updated version of Death on the Nile. It is based on the Agatha Christie murder mystery novel.

Rose will still be working and wear bulky clothes while filming the six-part BBC crime thriller, Vigil in Scotland. Kit and Rose met on the sets of superhit series, Game of Thrones in season two. The romance was parallel both on and off-screen as his character, Jon Snow falls in love with Rose’s character, Ygritte.

Her character died early on while Kit’s character survived till the end of the series. The couple tied the knot back in June 2018 in her family’s 12^th century Wardhill Castle in Scotland.

The couple has always been rather private about their personal life. It comes as no surprise to fans that they have not revealed more information about the pregnancy.

Kit Appearing As Guest On Criminal

However, Kit did open up a little about becoming parents last year in January 2019. In an interview, he discussed how his children would get to see their parents fall in love on-screen through Game of Thrones.

The actor said, “It dawned on me, recently. And I have no idea if we will, but say me and Rose do have children. They’ll know. They’ll be able to see the genesis of their parents getting together. Which is quite a wonderful thought, really.”

The second season for Criminal had announced its guest stars back in September, as well as giving us a sneak peek. The new episodes will be featuring Game of Thrones star, Kit.

It is the first major role for Kit Harington after he left the role of Jon Snow when Game of Thrones ended last year. He was a part of the series for all of its eight seasons donning long locks. However, now he is seen sporting much shorter locks for the part.

Although luckily for the fans of Jon Snow or Kit, he has entered the universe of Marvel. He will be playing one of the superheroes in Marvel’s Eternals which was originally going to release next year. But the coronavirus pandemic might have shifted the dates.

Kit will play the role of Dane Whitman aka Black Knight, a sword-wielding warrior clad in black. The role sounds a little familiar to his character in Game of Thrones.
