Rebel Wilson Shares Fun Twerking Video From The Sets Of Senior Year

The characters of ‘Senior Year’ were seen in complete hype when the leading role player in the movie Rebel Wilson posted an Instagram video on her handle that showcased her twerking skills. What moves!

Rebel Wilson posted some more new BTS scenes from her upcoming Netflix project titled Senior Year. The actress, 41, shared a clip in which she along with the movie cast members were seen dancing and singing to upbeat music. In the video, Rebel was wearing her cheerleading outfit that will be seen in the film scenes as well.

Fun Behind The Scenes

Rebel Wilson posted the video on her personal Instagram account on Wednesday, July 21 to celebrate the film’s completion, well, let us say the film’s 95% completion! Watch the Behind-the-scenes video that the actress shared:

Wilson captioned the BTS post: “The smooth British voice you can hear on this is that of our director [Alex Hardcastle] – who’s absolutely crushing directing Senior Year!” Rebel captioned the clip. “We’re at the end of the marathon right now…had a few issues this week but c’est la vie! We’re such a strong team.” 

Project Wrap Up

Actors and other supporting staff members wrapped up the filming of Senior Year in early July. Rebel shared a throwback post with her fellow star Angourie Rice on Instagram on July 1st as well.

It was captioned “Happy Wrap @angourierice ???? I love being your ‘senior,’” she captioned. Angourie will play a younger version of Rebel’s lead character Ruby in the film.

Storyline Of Senior Year

Senior Year is an upcoming rom-com project that will release on Netflix. The movie is based in 1997 and shows the life of a cheerleader leader named Ruby. In the movie, Ruby is shown to wake up from a 20-year-old coma and she goes back to her local high school to win the prestigious prom queen title.

The film is set to be released in 2022. Rebel, who is also the producer of the film, will be seen alongside Alicia Silverstone, Justin Hartley, and Chris Parnell in the film.

Senior Year will mark the actor’s first film in a few years. Wilson was last seen in Isn’t It Romantic, Jojo Rabbit, and Cats — all of which came out in 2019
