Ranveer Singh’s record label will release five music videos for the deaf community

Gully Boy, a film starring Ranveer Singh, helped him reconnect with and develop his passion for music. The actor funded some promising new rap talent in India and even started his own record label, IncInk. Ranveer Singh’s record label is due to release five new music videos for the hearing impaired in Indian Sign Language today.

Ranveer and his team have been exposing difficulties faced by the Deaf community, according to an article in Mid-Day. Today, on International Sign Languages Day, the actor and his record label will debut five new music videos in Indian Sign Language (ISL), which are specifically developed for the deaf.

12-hour digital campaign

Artists such as Kaam Bhari, Spitfire, and Kiss Nuka, among others, created the music videos. The music artists cooperated on the song video alongside deaf singers from Hear A Million. The YouTube account of Ranveer Singh’s record label will also run a 12-hour digital campaign to raise awareness of their needs and struggles.

Ranveer, when asked about the project, stated, “If there’s one thing we’ve learned in the last year and a half, it’s the importance of being there for one another. My message to the young is to keep doing what they’re doing while also working with the Deaf community to build a more open community.”

Ranveer had even performed on national television with an ISL interpreter and musician Spitfire in 2019. The actor is also said to be advocating for ISL to be declared the country’s 23rd official language by the Indian government.

More information on the actor’s record label

In 2019, the superstar announced his record label by posting a photo of himself with various artists and calling it his “passion project,” adding that it will help “find, nurture, and promote fresh talents from throughout India.” After his experience in Gully Boy, where he even rapped for Apna Time Aayega, the actor’s initiative came as no surprise.

Ranveer will be seen in the films Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus. He’ll also star alongside his wife Deepika Padukone in Kabir Khan’s ’83, which is based on India’s historic World Cup victory in 1983.
