Rag’n’Bone Releases Complete Music Video For His New Single Titled Alone

The track is the latest to be released from his latest album ‘Life By Misadventure’, following one previous song ‘Crossfire’ back in May.

The singer explained in a media statement that ‘Alone’ was written following a talk with a friend, who told Rag’n’Bone Man – whose real name is Rory Graham – about feeling condemned by her family for being single and not having children.

“I really feel sorry for women, because men don’t get that kind of pressure in their families,” the singer added.

Music Video

The black and white video entry shows Rag’n’Bone Man singing and playing the guitar on the track, while a full band and supporting artists join him as the song grows. Watch the full video below.

The album debuted in January with a new single ‘All You Ever Wanted’, and in April saw the arrival of ‘Anywhere Away From Here’, a collaboration with P! Nk that these sang at the 2021 BRIT Awards.

‘Live Album’ Recording

‘Life by Misadventure’ was largely produced by Mike Elizondo (Eminem, Fiona Apple, Alanis Morissette) in his studio proximate to Nashville.

Recorded as a “live album”, the project features contributions from drummer Daru Jones (formerly Jack White’s ‘Lazaretto’) and guitarist Wendy Melvoin (Prince’s The Revolution).

UK Tour

‘Life By Misadventure’ is expected to hit on the UK tour later sometime this year, which will start in October with a home show at Brighton Center before the days continue until the end of the month and finally with tour reaching an end in early November with a London show at Hammersmith Apollo.

Tickets are on sale and capacity is not largely restricted either. The government has been experimenting with pilot events that were allowed to function at full capacity and things are going quite well, to say the least
