Photos From Netflix’s On My Block Season 4 Give A First Look At The Final Season
The upcoming fourth and final season of On My Block has been given a first peek by Netflix. The series is based on the ups and downs of a group of high school pals and was created by Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft. In the inner city of South Central Los Angeles, Monsé Finnie (Sierra Capri), Cesar Diaz (Diego Tinoco), Ruby Martinez (Jason Genao), and Jamal Turner (Brett Gray) manage relationships, life, gang violence, and more.
On My Block’s third season had a time jump that seemed to indicate some distance between the characters, and now Netflix has released its first look.
Storyline
The series of first look photos, which were published on EW, offer a fresh view on the group, who have each carved out their own identity. Monsé has grown at her exclusive boarding school and appears to be a fully grown woman. Jamal, the charming goofball, has changed his attitude and is now a jock on the football squad.
Ruby, on the other hand, appears to have moved on from the trauma of the first few seasons and is now coming into his own. He’s had a complete makeover and is running a campaign to win some sort of race.
And he appears to still be strangely close with Jasmine (Jessica Marie Garcia), who is shown consoling him while wearing a shirt with his face on it in one photo. Cesar appears to be back with the Santos, this time as the boss.
In the meantime, his younger brother Oscar (Julio Macias) is expecting a child. It’s as though they’re a completely different group now than they were when Season 1 began.

On My Block’s fourth and final season will launch on Netflix on October 4 with ten episodes. It’s obvious that two years can make a huge difference in this group of friends. “An discovered secret draws them back together showing that sometimes, separated relationships can be easily healed when survival is on the line,” according to the Netflix description.
