Fans rejoice as the countdown has started and Sex Education season 3 is set to hit Netflix in ten days. The official release date for season 3 is September 17, 2021.

Netflix has tweeted several pictures from the show to build up excitement amongst the fans.

The trailer for season 3 was released in July on official channel of Netflix.

Even before Netflix officially renewed Sex Education for season 3, the creator of the series Laurie Dunn confirmed that she had already started writing for the new season.

Netflix now officially confirmed that Season III of Sex Education is in production. After this announcement, official Twitter account of Netflix posted few more pictures from the upcoming series to keep the excitement ball rolling.

Talking about the cast members, we’ll see majority of the characters from the previous seasons.

New Character ‘Cal’ In Season III

A new character by the name of Cal will also be introduced in season 3. Cal’s character will be a recurring tole. Cal is described as a ‘17-year old non-binary stoner kid’

The third season needs to answer a lot of fan questions as whatever we know so far about Otis and the colorful characters of Moordale Secondary school is still not sufficient.

How Many Episodes?

The number of episodes Sex Education season 3 contains has not been revealed by Netflix. Industry tabloids believe that Season III will have a total of eight episodes, just like the previous two seasons.
