Noah Cyrus Says She Is In Utter Shock As She Breaks Down Over Grammy Nomination

Noah Cyrus is in utter shock as she received her very first Grammy nomination. The singer opened up about her emotions on social media after being nominated for the very first time.

She was nominated for Best New Artist after the release of her album The End of Everything from Columbia Records. The singer took to her social media to post that she is a Grammy-nominated artist. She shared that she is in a “puddle of tears in bed”.

Noah shared that she was woken up and told she was nominated as the best artist. She later addressed that her mother had written in her book Intensions that she should have been nominated for a Grammy. The singer shared that her mother has always been and is her biggest fan.

“IM A GRAMMY NOMINATED ARTIST!!!” Noah posted to Instagram. “I’m in a puddle of tears in bed after being woken up and told IM NOMINATED AS BEST NEW ARTIST. my mom at the beginning of the year wrote in her intensions book for me to be nominated for a grammy… mom you’ve always been and are my biggest fan. thank u I love you so much. thank you to my team and my cyrens.”

Noah Gets Emotional As She Remembers Her Grandma

She thanked everyone and told her fans she loves them as she thanked her team and her “cyrens”. The singer applauded everybody who worked on the album with her. “this is such an honor and I am in utter shock,” she wrote. “thank you so much from the bottom of my heart I truly can’t believe it my mind is going a thousand miles a minute and I am beyond grateful and full of love and gratitude.”

The singer further shared that her grandmother is looking down on her and this is from her. She thanked her heavenly abode “Mammie” and wished she could be here. Noah also shared a video of herself getting the news from her team. She is seen crying as she says this is all she has ever wanted.

The singer said she cannot believe it is real as many A-listers supported her. Demi Lovato offered her support by commenting, “YES YOU ARE BB GIRL.” The singer had released her first EP, Good Cry back in 2018.

However, the singer has a lot of competition to face as she is against Billie EIlish, who was the Best New Artist of 2020. She is also up against Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat and Phoebe Bridgers.

Noah’s elder sister, Miley Cyrus had earned a 2015 Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for Bangerz.
