Netflix has announced You Season 3 will release on October 15th; Watch Teaser
The third season of Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti’s renowned psychological thriller You is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 15th.
Despite being in a relationship with Pedretti’s character Love Quinn, Badgley’s Joe was already eyeing a new neighbour by the conclusion of the second season of the drama.
According to Variety, the upcoming season will focus on Joe and Love’s relationship as they raise their son, Henry, in California. However, their family life begins to fall apart when Joe develops an interest in his next-door neighbour.
The series is based on Caroline Kepnes’ books You and Hidden Bodies. Joe moved from New York to Los Angeles in Season 2 to hide his murderous past behind a new name, then fell in love with Love, only to become trapped in his own world of lies.
Season 3 takes the tale in a different route than the books. You Love Me, the third book in Kepnes’ series, was released in April, after the series’ writers plotted out the storyline.
Saffron Burrows as Dottie Quinn, Tati Gabrielle as Marianne, Dylan Arnold as Theo, Shalita Grant as Sherry, Travis Van Winkle as Cary, Scott Speedman as Matthew, Michaela McManus as Natalie, Shannon Chan-Kent as Kiki, Ben Menhl as Dante, Chris O’Shea as Andrew, and Christopher Sean as Brandon star alongside Badgley and Pedretti in You.
