Season two of Kota Factory, according to director Raghav Subbu, will follow the path of students in Kota and the “struggles they face on a daily basis,” making it “more interesting and realistic.”

“The audience will be captivated by the engaging plot and amazing performances. In a statement, the filmmaker added, “I’m incredibly pleased to share the epic content with Netflix’s diverse audience.” Subbu and Shreyansh Pandey will serve as showrunners for season two of Kota Factory.

Tanya Bami, Netflix India’s Director of International Originals, said the team is thrilled to introduce the current season of the show to the streaming platform.

“In the second season of Kota Factory on Netflix, we are thrilled to bring back favourite characters Vaibhav, Uday, Shivangi, Meena, and Jeetu Bhaiyya. This season, like the previous, is rich with authenticity and relatability of college life, the choices and problems of the youth not just in Kota, but across the country,” Bami noted.

Season one of the show, which is also accessible on Netflix, gave viewers a peek inside the lives of students in Kota, which is home to plenty of coaching centres.

The series is written by Saurabh Khanna, Abhishek Yadav, Puneet Batra, and Manoj Kalwani and produced by The Viral Fever (TVF).
