Met Gala Seating Chart Sparks Fury Online
Just earlier this month the list of potential guests was leaked. The list included celebrities like Beyonce, Lady Gaga and also influencers like Addison Rae, Emma Chamberlain and James Charles.
The official Met Gala is yet to confirm or deny the alleged list of attendees to the fundraiser. This year’s theme is American Fashion and it is taking place on September 13. The Met Gala is usually hosted on the first Friday in May but because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the event was postponed.
As per Pop Faction, the alleged table seating for the fundraiser has been revealed. The seating chart raises eyebrows as Lady Gaga is being seated next to Emma Chamberlain. Meanwhile, Addison Rae is allegedly sitting opposite Beyonce. Other guests also include TikTok stars, Charli and Dixie D’Amelio and YouTuber Bretman Rock.
The seating arrangement is not confirmed just like the guest list. But users on Twitter have already jumped on board to stark the difference between guests. Twitter immediately criticized the many guests listed on the seating chart. The post of the seating chart read,
“This is how the dinner would risk being. Nothing is confirmed here, so don’t believe everything you see. But if you should choose a table which one will it be?”
Many have already deemed it as fake while a user said Emma is a fashion icon now so she does deserve to be there. However, the user questioned Addison’s presence at the alleged Met Gala seating chart. Meanwhile, another user said, “This has to be a joke TikTok girl not even 18, you gotta be over 18 to go right? Also other TikTok girl opposite BEYONCE?”
