Mamamoo’s Hwasa Announces Solo Project

I Say Mamamoo: The Best was the first compilation of Mamamoo after which the group will be going back to focusing on their individual projects. There was speculation as to which member will be dropping their next album and fans will not have to do that anymore.

RBW Entertainment announced that Hwasa was preparing for her solo album. She has only released her debut single, Twit and EP Maria. The singer hasn’t dropped a studio album yet but Mamamoo released their 11th EP WAW. She even had a concert to celebrate their seventh anniversary.

Hwasa collaborated with Kinda Blue for I Can’t Make You Love Me and DPR’s Hula Hoops with Beenzino. Fans have been waiting for her to make her comeback this year. Moomoos are very excited as her solo album received confirmation.

Hwasa will have a proper release album as fans hope that this is it. It was also s speculated that Hwasa is working on a solo project . Fans have been picking apart RBW’s statement as they wrote, “Hwasa is steadily preparing for a solo album.” Nevertheless, whether it is a mini-album or a studio album, fans are looking forward to it.”

The other Mamamoo members are preparing for their individual schedules. It was previously announced that Solar had been roped in for JTBC’s show, Joseon Top Singer. She is one of the judges along with Song Ga-in and 2PM’s Wooyoung. Moonbyul is busy with her radio show Naver’s ‘Studio Moon Night’. On the other hand, fans were wondering what Wheein was up to after she left RBW. It has been reported that she has signed with VIXX Ravi’s newest label THE L1VE.

Hwasa was trending on Twitter as fans were excited about the upcoming solo album. A fan tweeted, “EVERYONE STEP ASIDE QUEEN HWASA IS COMING!!!! AHHHHHHH I’M SO EXCITED! What if we’re getting a full album this time?!?!” Another wrote, “Hwasa please i beg that this would be a full album”.
