Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song had welcomed their very first child on April 5 and have named him Dakota Song Culkin. They had released a joint statement at the time sharing how overjoyed they were.
Not many fans know about their private love story as many of us were left shocked when we realized who our Home Alone kid had ended up with. Macaulay and Brenda were spotted on the set of Changeland in Thailand. They were then first spotted together back in 2017. The couple was grabbing dinner at Craig’s in Los Angeles.
The very next month, the former Disney star posted a group photo on social media where she posed along with Macaulay. Both of them kept their relationship private on social media but Brenda had shared a special message to Macaulay on his 40th birthday.
“Happy 40th birthday to this magical being,” she wrote in the caption. “I could sit here and write endlessly about how wonderful, kind, loving, genuine, loyal, honest, brilliant, and hilarious you are, and how grateful I am that I get to share and do this life thing with you.”
She went on in her special message saying it would take her an eternity. The Disney star also noted that Macaulay will not even see this because he does not use his Instagram. She added, “My unicorn that I never thought could exist, I am the luckiest person in the world because I am loved by you.”

The couple has been planning to expand their family of two for quite a few years now. Macaulay had appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast back in 2018 where he said he and Brenda were trying to have a baby together. “This one’s a good one, so I’m probably going to put some babies in her in a little bit,” Culkin said, laughing. “I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing.”
The actor shared that they both have a good life and a pretty little family. He shared he has a pretty girl, a dog, a cat, and all of that prettiness in his life. The Home Alone star said, “We’re doing the house thing and all that kind of stuff.” Macaulay further talked about their continued efforts to conceive a baby back in February last year. He appeared on the cover of Esquire and shared that they practice a lot and are figuring it out. The actor shared that they are making the timing work.
Brenda also opened up in the magazine as she explained what she finds undeniably attractive about her better half. She calls him Mack as she shares that people don’t realize how incredibly kind, loyal, sweet, and smart he is. The former Disney star explained, “Truly what makes Mack so special is that he is so unapologetically Mack.”
She further explained that he knows who he is and is 100 percent okay with that. The actor shared that quality is “incredibly sexy” to her.
