
Kids Animated Series Shark Dog To Return For Halloween Special On Netflix
Shark Dog is coming for a Halloween special! And guess what more? Netflix has even announced a full season 2 for the kids animated series.
Shark Dog is a popular animated series among kids that is produced by One Animation and ViacomCBS Digital Studios International.
Exciting Storyline
The story of the show revolves around a young boy named Max who meets a unique pet that is a Shark and Dog hybird (half shark and half dog)
Max goes on exciting adventures with his hybrid pet including diving, heading to the beach, babysitting, or heading out on a camping trip.
Netflix picked up the series in April 2020 after it’s successful run on Nickelodeon as part of Nickelodeon’s Global Animated Shorts Program.
The show was released in September 2021 on Netflix. In the first season, Shark Dog had seven episodes with each episode being 7 minutes long.
Release Date For Halloween Special
The upcoming new Halloween special is titled Sharkdog’s Fintastic Halloween. It is set to release next month in mid-October. The official release date of Shark Dog’s Halloween special is October 15, 2021.

While the date for the Halloween special is out, there is no confirmed release date for Season II of the animated show. However, according to industry reports, the second season of the show is currently under production.
Season 2 Of Shark Dog
Liam Mitchell, who voices Max in the show, in an Interview published on August 24th revealed the Halloween special was in development and the fact he’s working on season 2.
Mitchell was offered the role of Max back in 2019 and spoke to the outlet about how he records the lines for the show saying:
“My dad built a recording studio in a closet in our basement. I work once a week for about 2 to 3 hours. I get on a Zoom with the sound team in L.A. and I record my lines with them.”
