Kanye West ‘Cries’ After Comparing Home With Kim Kardashian To ‘Prison’ In New Song

Kanye West had held an album listening party back in Las Vegas. He played a track that seemingly included lyrics about his marriage with Kim Kardashian. The rapper broke down in tears as per reports after playing his new song, Welcome to My Life.

The song seemingly includes lyrics that aim at his troubled personal life and also touch upon his current divorce from the reality star. It also seemingly includes his Twitter meltdowns and his failed bid for the US presidency. According to The Sun, he also compares his marital home in Calabasas, LA, with Kim to being in a “jail”.

He raps in the song, “Tell the assassins I escaped from Calabasas.” As per a source at the Vegas party, it is described as a “very deep, sad song about Kanye” as he reflects upon his marriage with the Skims creator. The source added, “He talks about the kids and mentions her taking everything. After he played this song he paused for like, two minutes, and cried. It was really sombre.”

Justin Laboy had recently revealed that he was one of those picked to listen to the album first along with Kevin Durant. The social media star shared that the album is the best of the year. He took to social media and wrote, “Kanye played his new album for me & @KDTrey5 last night in Vegas. Man listen! The production is light years ahead of it’s time, and the bars sound like he’s broke & hungry trying to get signed again. Any artist who plan on dropping soon should just push it back #Respectfully (sic)”

The listening party was held for the release of the 10th album called Donda after his late mother. It was in Las Vegas’ ChurchLV for Christians. The album is expected to release on Friday and it is also set to feature snippets from Kanye’s mother. Kanye has previously opened up about his “deep depression” after the death of his mother.

This will be the first album from Kanye after his divorce from Kim. The reality star has cited “irreconcilable differences” as her reason for filing for a divorce. Kim and Kanye both share four children together and the rapper is currently dating Irina Shayk according to reports. This comes after rumours that the couple had split, however, the model was supposedly furious after claims that the pair broke up.
