Kalei Renay Angry After Being Banned On Twitch For Sexual Content

On October 13, Kalei Renay received the first ban of her Twitch career. And this did not sit well with the streamer as she has responded in a super annoyed and frustrated manner.

Kalei became the first and only female content creator for FaZe Clan recently which helped her boost viewership on her stream massively. The average view count on the FaZe Clan’s female content creator saw a 200% jump in 2021. However, Twitch algorithms were also keeping a stricter eye on the streamer during this time.

Are You Guys Smoking Crack?

Kalei Renay was banned on October 13 and the reason given by Twitch was ‘sexually suggestive conduct’. The streamer had a fiery response at being banned for this reason.

“ALL I WEAR IS OVERSIZED HOODIES AND SHIRTS,” she began her Twitter rant tagging Twitch in the tweet.

ARE YOU GUYS SMOKING CRACK??????????? ALL I WEAR IS OVERSIZED HOODIES AND SHIRTS. THE ONLY TIME I DONT IS BECAUSE I GOT A TATTOO ON MY COLLARBONE AND THATS SOMEHOW SEXUAL????? ARE YOU GUYS HIGH?????? @twitch

Reason For The Ban

In this story, we know one thing for sure and that is that Kalei’s ban is not prompted by her on-stream clothing or expression. She has been banned because of a sexual policy violation done by her in “public or private chat messages.”

There is no certainty as to how long Kalei Renay’s Twitch ban would last. However, the streamer revealed that she would be missing out on a sponsored stream and tournament due to her Twitch ban. She also said that the ban is expected to last for three days.

As a general rule of thumb, we can say that Twitch bans last anywhere from 24 hours, up to 30 days. Indefinite suspensions are only for extreme or repeated violations. However, even these can be navigated around because streamers like xQc have been banned more than four times and still remain to be on the platform,

Kalei Renay joined FaZe Clan in a massive deal that surprised the fans as she was the first and only female member of the eSports organization.
