Joe Rogan, the host of one of the most popular Podcasts on the planet recently attracted a lot of criticism online when he revealed his ‘self-treatment’ of coronavirus.
Joe Rogan announced in a video that he had tested positive for coronavirus on September 1. In the same video, the popular podcast host revealed that he was consuming a ‘kitchen sink’ of medicines to treat himself.
One such medication that Joe Rogan claimed to have consumed was Ivermectin – a drug which is used to heartworms in livestock and other animals.
Ivermectin is used to treat parasitic worm conditions and the FDA emphasizes on using it only when prescribed. However, Joe Rogan did it to self-treat himself.
This prompted a barrage of criticism and hate towards the Joe Rogan Experience podcast host. He was called a spreader of misinformation by news outlet CNN.
Now, Rogan has slammed back at his critics. He said that those who are criticizing him are ‘weak b**ch*s’ and he actually ‘got better’ with the kitchen sink of medications he used.
“What they didn’t highlight was that I got better!” Rogan said in his latest Podcast appearance.
“They’re trying to make it seem as if I’m doing some wacky s**t that’s completely ineffective, and CNN was saying that I’m ‘a distributor of misinformation.’”
The podcast host revealed that he was feeling “pretty f**king good” after consuming Ivermectin dosage along with a high dose of Vitamin C drops.
“Because I wasn’t scared… what they would like, is when I did get sick, that I [would get] really sick and get really scared and learn my lesson,” he added. “I bounced back just about as quick as you can. They’re haters. …they’re weak b***es. Stay salty.”
