Jennifer Lopez Wanted To Drop Armie Hammer From Her Upcoming Film

Armie Hammer is going to have to step away from his upcoming romantic comedy, Shotgun Wedding. This comes after disturbing messages surfaced allegedly sent by the actor.

A report from PageSix claims that the actor will be leaving the venture as a production spokesperson talked about the situation. He said that because of the imminent start date of the venture, Armie has requested to step away from the movie and they support the decision.

Another report claimed that Jennifer Lopez, who is also a part of the movie was already considering dropping the actor from the film. A source revealed, “Jennifer is very concerned about the movie now these stories have come out.”

A source further added that there have been numerous phone calls and meetings about the matter. This was in regard to questioning their decision to have Armie as the romantic lead. “A lot of people have suggested quietly dropping him from the project and I think Jennifer could agree to it,” the insider added.

According to the source, Jennifer is a producer of the movie and she does not want to be pretending to love someone who has been accused of texting those things. The actress is reportedly horrified by the alleged messages. She is playing the role of Armie’s fiancé in the upcoming rom-com.

The chaos has come after several screenshots have leaked as it sees Armie sending a series of disturbing messages about rape fantasies, cannibalism, and ‘blood-sucking’ to a woman. The messages were sent over a period of four years. He has addressed the rumors as he said he will not be responding to such “bulls—t” claims.

Armie Describes Allegations As “Bulls—t”

The actor revealed in a statement, “I’m not responding to these bulls–t claims, but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot, in good conscience now, leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic.”

He said that Lionsgate is supporting him in his decision and he is grateful for the same.  The controversy started over the weekend as several screenshots showing graphic messages he had allegedly written to a woman were leaked by an anonymous source.

The series of texts include conversations about BDSM and various sexual references to cannibalistic acts. In one exchange, Armie has allegedly written, “I am 100% a cannibal. I want to eat you.” He said it is scary to admit and that he has never admitted that.

However, it is not clear if these messages are authentic and have not been verified. Although the woman behind the House of Effie account shared new evidence of Armie where he appeared to be referring to her as his ‘slave’.

“You just live to obey me and be my slave,” a message purported to have been sent from Hammer’s official Instagram account reads. “I will own you. That’s my soul. My brain. And my spirit. My body. Would you come and be my property till you die?”’ the message further suggests that he wants to cut off one of her toes and keep it as his possession.

A source revealed that Armie’s ex-wife was absolutely shocked and sickened at those messages. They had ended their marriage after being together for 10 years and announced their separation in July. According to a source, she seemed to be aware of his ‘infidelities’. This also included being romantically involved with Rebecca costar, Lily James.

But Armie’s alleged extreme kinks are a “complete shock” to the mother-of-two, with the friend adding; “Armie appears to be a monster”. They said: “A lot of these women have reached out to Elizabeth; and although she didn’t want to admit it to herself at first, she knows now, they are speaking the truth.”

The source further added that he had a whole side to him that she was not familiar with. She thinks that it was always there but hidden or something had happened that changed him completely.
