Jennifer Aniston Changes Her Mind About Ross & Rachel’s Friendship

Jennifer Aniston appears to have changed her mind about Ross and Rachel’s Friends separation. The NBC sitcom, created by David Crane, Marta Kauffman, and Kevin S. Bright, started in 1994 and ran for ten seasons, following the lives of six young New York City friends.

With new generations discovering the series on Netflix and subsequently HBO Max, it swiftly became an immediate sensation and one of the most-watched television shows of all time. The cast recently reunited for a reunion special hosted by James Corden, which aired on HBO Max and featured interviews with various characters from the series.

Aniston won a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award in 2002 for her role as Rachel Green in the successful comedy. Since the sitcom ended in 2004, Aniston has had a long and successful career, blending comedy and drama in films such as Horrible Bosses, We’re the Millers, and Cake.

She recently returned to television as Alex Levy alongside Reese Witherspoon in the Apple TV+ drama series The Morning Show, which has debuted the trailer for its second season.

Ross and Rachel a break?

Aniston has now moved to Instagram to declare that Ross and Rachel were not on the verge of breaking up. Aniston had indicated during the reunion that she believed the pair was officially on the cure, and her Ross co-star, David Schwimmer, has reiterated that sentiment in prior interviews.

Aniston revealed a Friends goods collection in her post, which includes shirts, mugs, and caps featuring classic moments and lines from the show.

The cast at the fountain in the opening titles, Phoebe’s “Smelly Cat” song, and the famous phrase, “We were so not on a break!” which Aniston captioned and wore, are among them.

The following is Aniston’s collecting post, which collaborates with the Americares charity, which assists people impacted by the pandemic:

While it’s not exactly clear whether Aniston’s caption proves that she has completely changed her mind about the topic, and it could just be clever wordplay to promote the collection, it does show how influential Friends is to its fans.
