Austin McBroom has been on the news for all the wrong reasons lately. Jake Paul now seems to be adding fuel to the fire as he made a statement in a recent interview. The influencer talked about Austin not paying Social Gloves employees.

Social Gloves Entertainment hosted the Battle of the Platforms: YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing match. The event included several celebrity influencers like Vinnie Hacker, Taylor Holder, Bryce Hall, etc. According to the rumours, Austin has not paid the boxers, artists, and other employees since the event.

This is not the first time Jake is commenting on the issue. He had previously taken to social media to call out the ACE Family patriarch for not paying his employees. Ever since then, the YouTube star has actively spoken on the same. Jake claimed that Austin might be going bankrupt after the match failed to make any profits.

The YouTuber shared that the company was to reach a target of 500,000 pay-per-view buys but only made 136,000 PPV sales. Jake said, “They thought they were going to sell a certain amount of pay-per-views, and they didn’t sell anywhere near that, and they spent way too much money putting the event on. So it probably has to bankrupt the company. It’s harder to sell pay-per-views than people think.”

As per Jake, the match tickets were sold at an expensive rate which led to Social Gloves having difficulty while generating revenues. The target audience which majorly consists of youngsters could not buy the tickets. Jake shared that for their first event ever they charged $60 with an audience that is very technically savvy. He added that there were a ton of illegal streams happening for that fight because they were young 13-year old kids who will find an illegal website.

Vinnie Hacker, Bryce Hall, Tana Mongeau and many other influencers have come forward and made statements about the payment controversy. Austin McBroom has openly spoken about the matter, saying that “every fighter, including myself, will be getting paid.” As per rumours, the ACE family is also under pre-foreclosure after Austin and Catherine failed to make payments.
