Internet Personalities React To OnlyFans Banning Sexual Content On Its Platform

Well, if you thought that 2021 was going fine so far… you’re in for a surprise! The famous content subscription platform OnlyFans has shocked the Internet with its most recent decision!

OnlyFans announced that it is banning all sorts of po*n and sexually explicit content. This is ironic because OF was wildly popular as the platform which has the most adult content. OF content creators posted a lot of sexual content for their fans who paid for exclusive content.

Why Did OnlyFans Ban Sexual Content?

In an official statement, OnlyFans said “In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the platform, and to continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines.”

While OF has taken a major step towards its long-term sustainability with this decision, it says that nudity is not going to be completely banned on the platform. “Creators will continue to be allowed to post content containing nudity as long as it is consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy”. No more elaboration was given about what the acceptable policy is.

Axios states that OnlyFans was prompted to take this decision because it was struggling to find investors with its current business model. But.. the major question!

What are the content creators who posted nudity and sexual content on OF gonna do now? Well, here are some solid reactions!

Hot Tub Streamer ‘xoAerial’ has already started promoting her ‘Fansly’ account after OnlyFans banned sexual content. She sent out a tweet saying “When onlyfans fails you, I have @realFansly follow for my fun stuff”.

Corrina Kopf, who is famous as the creator who made $1Mn on OnlyFans in 3 days said “The problem with OF is the only people being effected is SW, and not only are they effected but being directly attacked. You can still post nudity, just not porn. While i won’t be effected shame on OF for the direction they’re going.”

In contrast, another OF content creator says that nudity is still going to be allowed after October 1st so her fans are gonna be happy.

Time for some of the funny ones! “Onlyfans banning porn and expecting to still make money is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen”, said Twitch streamer Susu.

Another Twitch streamer who is famous for his World of Warcraft streams Asmongold said “Onlyfans bans sexual content, RIP LMAO What’s next? Is KFC going to ban chicken? I should make the next Onlyfans.”
