In a hilarious Halloween image, a baby is dressed as a peacemaker

A photo of a child dressed up as a Peacemaker for Halloween has gone viral.

The character is played by wrestler-turned-actor John Cena in the DCEU, and he made his debut this summer in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.

Following that, he will resume his DCEU adventures in HBO Max’s Peacemaker, which will premiere in 2022.

Peacemaker Costume Worn By Baby 

When The Suicide Squad launched in August 2021, John Cena makes his first appearance as a Peacemaker in the DCEU. A peacemaker is a sociopathic murderer who murders innocent people in the cause of patriotism. He joins the Task Force X A-team, which sneaks into Corto Maltese at night to take down “Project Starfish.”

The peacemaker’s humorously absurd patriotism, on the other hand, gradually gives way to disclose his sinister objective to erase proof of America’s involvement in the capture and development of Starro as a weapon as the film unfolds. This leads to a battle with Bloodsport (Idris Elba), in which the Peacemaker is eventually killed by a bullet to the neck.

With the premiere of The Suicide Squad behind them, fans have started making their own versions of the characters’ costumes. Indeed, one father recently posted to Reddit under the handle /Antiatk to show off his child’s Peacemaker outfit for Halloween, complete with the character’s absurd helmet.

Even beyond his appearance in The Suicide Squad and fantastic costumes like the one seen above, the future seems bright for the Peacemaker character. In fact, as The Suicide Squad’s post-credits scene teases, the character will soon be the star of his own HBO Max series.

Peacemaker picks up after the events of The Suicide Squad, with the titular anti-hero recovering from his injuries caused by Bloodsport and being sent on a new mission with Adrian Chase aka Vigilante (Freddie Stroma).
