House of Gucci: Lady Gaga played Patrizia Reggiani, posed with her co-star Jared Leto playing Paolo Gucci. While on the red carpet for the premiere of their new movie ‘House of Gucci’. The Hollywood stars gathered together for the London premiere of the all-new Ridley Scott-directed biopic ‘House of Gucci’.
This chronicles with the fashion house family’s legacy and the infamous murder of Maurizio Gucci. However, after his ex-wife Patrizia hired a hitman to kill him. The movie is based on Sara Gay Forden’s 2001 book ‘The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story Of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed’.
This movie will be Lady Gaga’s second leading role as an actress. After making a massive debut in ‘A Star Is Born’. In House Of Gucci, Gaga is acting alongside the Oscar-winners Al Pacino and Jared Leto. Indeed few Academy Award-nominated actors too, Salma Hayek and Adam Driver.
Lady Gaga is playing the role of Patrizia Reggiani, delved into the details of the character. “I had some psychological difficulty at one point towards the end of filming”. She further revealed that she chose to embody Reggiani for 18 months. And used her accent for 9 months straight, even if there weren’t any cameras.
“It is three years since I started working on it, and I will be fully honest and transparent. I lived as her (Reggiani) for a year and a half. And I spoke with an accent for nine months of that. Off camera. I never broke. I stayed with her,” Lady Gaga opened up.
