Ed Sheeran reveals that his infant daughter Lyra was also infected with COVID-19

Ed Sheeran is nearing the end of his two-week quarantine after catching COVID. The 30-year-old musician, who is coronavirus-vaccinated, disclosed to Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show that he contracted COVID while his wife Cherry Seaborn was overseas, and that his 15-month-old daughter Lyra was also infected.

“Because my wife was away, I was alone with my daughter… “It was kind of heavy because she had it, too,” he told Stern, adding that the first three days were “really bad.” He went on to say that, according to PEOPLE, “It’s strange to get [COVID-19] and then have to reveal it to the rest of the world… I’m still being treated as though I’ve had it “Sheeran addressed himself. “I didn’t want to tell everyone, but I had to cancel three major events in England and didn’t want to offend anyone.”

Ed Sheeran, surprisingly, is returning to Studio 8H. The musician, who announced on Oct. 24 that he was in isolation due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, announced on his Instagram early Tuesday morning (Nov. 2) that he was out and about. Sheeran, on the other hand, is due to perform as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live with first-time host Kieran Culkin on Saturday (Nov. 6). Sheeran will make his third appearance on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest.

Meanwhile, Sheeran, whose fourth full-length album, “=,” was released on Friday, was forced to cancel or reschedule a number of engagements, interviews, and performances after testing positive for covid.
