Early Reactions For Shang-Chi Promises This Is MCU’s Best Action Movie

The premiere of Shang-Chi was just held and the first reactions to the Marvel Studios’ new movie are also here. At the beginning of the year, Marvel Cinematic Universe kicked off its Phase 4 with the release of WandaVision.

But the theatre drought of MCU movie releases ended after Black Widow premiered this year along with its premiere on Disney+. Scarlett Johansson’s long-overdue movie is still making the news but Marvel is in the final stages as they prepare for the second phase 4 MCU movie.

The latest movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was first announced at Comic-Con 2019 by Marvel Studios. Kevin Feige had confirmed Simu Liu will be playing the Master of Kung Fu. This movie will be a part of MCU’s growing roster of heroes as this will be set after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

The story revolves around Wenwu, the real Mandarin and leader of the Ten Rings calls his son, Shang-Chi back in action. This is a stepping stone for the MCU as Shang-Chi is the MCU’s first Asian-led movie. It has a supporting cast that includes Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina. The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. And after releasing many trailers and glimpses, the first reactions for Shang-Chi has arrived.

Marvel held the Shang-Chi premiere in Los Angeles on August 16. Many celebrities including the cast and crew attended the premiere of the highly anticipated MCU movie. Even though we will not get full-fledged reviews until the actual release of the movie, the people who attended the premiere have shared their non-spoiler reactions on social media.

The positive reviews for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings have one thing in common. It is that the action is the best people have ever seen happen in the MCI. The movie had from the beginning teased that it would rightfully be a martial arts movie with superpowers. Although the trailer had already convinced us to watch the movie, now the reactions have been even better than we expected them to be.

MCU fans will be glad to hear that the movie has gotten positive reviews. It is safe to say that it might have its flaws but the reviews so far have nothing worrisome. Shang-Chi is not a popular character but he is definitely important for the MCU’s future.
