DWTS: Olivia Jade Felt More At Ease With Her Sister In The Crowd

Olivia Jade revealed that she felt more at ease for her debut on Dancing With The Stars with her older sister, Bella is in the crowd. Her debut comes after the scandal of her mother and father.

Back in 2019, Olivia’s parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli were charged with fraud and bribery in a nationwide college admissions scandal. The pair pled guilty to committing the fraud and were sentenced to prison. Lori served two months in prison while Mossimo served five.

They have rarely been seen out ever since their release. Olivia slowly rebuilt her career as a YouTuber which was ruined by the scandal. The influencer talked to Page Six after her debut as she expressed how grateful she was to have her sister Bella cheer for her in the crowd. She described her sister as being her best friend in the world.

Olivia added, “Her support is everything, and it brings a level of comfort knowing my older sister is there watching me.” The influencer further revealed how Bella has helped her by offering sound advice. She shared that Bella told her to just breathe and revealed,  “Before she texted me […] ‘Take a deep breath. If you’re super nervous you’re probably holding your breath a lot and not releasing.’”

Olivia Hopes Viewers See The Different Side Of Her

Though she was nervous, Olivia and her dancing partner Val Chmerkovskiy managed to make an impressive impression. They received a score of 25/40 for their debut performance. Olivia did feel nervous as well as excited for her debut on the show. She was defended by Tyra Banks and does not consider herself a dancer as she hasn’t performed before.

The influencer thought the debut went pretty well and is looking forward to learning more. She also revealed that her mother has been supportive throughout the entire process. The influencer had addressed the scandal in her pre-taped introduction before the dance performance. Olivia did not mention the topic of the scandal but she did reveal that she took a step back from her career as a YouTuber.

She admitted to taking everybody’s opinions and taking a step back from the spotlight. Now she hopes viewers see a different side as she is looking forward to moving on and doing better.
