Drake has postponed the release of his song “Splash Brothers”

Drake has put a hold on the release of a song he’s working on with French Montana in honor of the Astroworld victims. According to Variety.com, the song ‘Splash Brothers’ is expected to be on Montana’s fourth studio album, ‘They Got Amnesia,’ which will be published on November 19.

The song will most likely be included in the deluxe edition of ‘Amnesia.’ Montana and Drake have worked together on a number of songs throughout the years, including ‘Pop That,’ ‘Stay Schemin,’ ‘No Stylist,’ and ‘No Shopping.’

Drake appeared as a special guest towards the end of Travis Scott’s Astroworld show and has subsequently been mentioned in several of the lawsuits that have followed the festival, which resulted in the deaths of ten people and the injuries of scores more.

Following the accident, Drake reacted to social media, writing, “I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this terrible tragedy for the past several days… My heart breaks for the families and friends of those who have died, as well as anyone who is suffering.”

“Houston Police Department has my full support as they investigate the tragic loss of life. I am devoted to collaborating with the Houston community to help families in need heal and be supported. Thank you to the Houston Police Department, Fire Department, and NRG Park for their quick reaction and assistance. Love you all.”

‘They Got Amnesia,’ by Montana, features contributions from John Legend, Rick Ross, Kodak Black, Pop Smoke, Lil Durk, Fivio Foreign, Doja Cat, Saweetie, Fabolous, Coi Leray, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Tjay, and others.

Drake & Crew Seen At Strip Club After Astroworld Tragedy

Travis Scott and Drake were photographed at an afterparty just hours after the event was canceled; drawing significant condemnation. That rage has only intensified once it was revealed that Drake attended another party a day after the Astroworld disaster; at a strip club in Houston; where it was already being claimed that people had died.

The news has cast a new perspective on Drake’s apologies, which had previously been praised. Shots showing Drake at the club are just the latest addition to the singer’s and Scott’s mounting dispute about their positions at Astroworld on November 5.
