Disney+ Suffers Outages As Users Rush To Stream WandaVision
Disney + has experienced technical problems for some users in the early hours of Friday morning as people rushed to view the latest episode of Marvel’s WandaVision.
The outage tracking website, Downdetector has reported a huge spike in user-submitted problems with Disney+. It has risen from zero reported problems to over 8,000 just after midnight. That is exactly when the new episode dropped. The website has reported that most of the errors occurred on the West Coast.
There were clusters centered around Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. In the same time, there were thousands of users who took to Twitter about the Disney+ outage and the inability to watch the seventh episode of WandaVision.
The technical problems have appeared to be short-lived as many users reporting problems on Downdetector providing updates that they were able to stream the show again. This was approximately after ten to fifteen minutes later.
WandaVision will have more episodes than it was originally going to put out. Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first show, WandaVision has been under wraps so as to hide the plot from fans.
In true Marvel fashion, they have successfully done that like no television show before. The only plot revealed was in the teasers and the posters released. Disney is gearing up for the release of the show on their streaming service.
Disney+ Packed With Phase 4 of MCU
However, still so much of it has been hidden that there is not much for fans to break down including the episode count of the show. The show’s budget is a whopping $150 million which made fans assume that the show will be shorter. According to a recent post on Disney Latino, it has hinted at an eight-week run.
Although nothing has been confirmed yet as the show’s premiere date comes nearer. But now, Disney has revealed how many episodes WandaVision is going to have. According to the press release by Disney, the show will consist of nine episodes.
The MCU show will debut weekly just like The Mandalorian. WandaVision will end on March 5, 2021. It is alleged that each episode will include a different era of sitcoms. The show ranges from the 1960s all the way to the 2000s.
WandaVision’s episode is more than expected is exciting. This gives fans much more perspective of the two characters since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. It will also be the first project released by Marvel in over a year. the show will be kicking off a banner year for Marvel Studios.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, and Ms. Marvel will also be kicking off this year.
And obviously, the episode counts of any of these highly-anticipated shows are not revealed. However, if we base it on WandaVision, it might be around the same number of episodes. Marvel is set to have a year full of steady streaming content which will hit the screens almost every week of this year.
Fans are extremely thrilled to move into Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Elizabeth Olsen had revealed that WandaVision will be exploring more of Scarlet Witch’s backstory.
