Concert video: Billie Eilish performs a song from The Nightmare Before Christmas

Billie Eilish, an international music sensation, contributed her unique vocal stylings to a recent live performance of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Eilish, who debuted in the public spotlight in 2015 with her breakthrough single Ocean Eyes, recorded when she was only 13 years old, released her second studio album Happier Than Ever earlier this year, along with a companion concert film on Disney+. She has now gone on to win seven Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, and the Guinness World Record for being the youngest female artist to reach No. 1 on the UK albums list.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

The Nightmare Before Christmas, an animated masterpiece, has been a fan favorite since its premiere in 1993. Originally conceived as a three-page poem by Tim Burton, the picture was intended to be broadcast as a television special narrated by movie great Vincent Price. In the 1980s, Disney considered making a 30-minute short film based on Burton’s ideas, but the project stalled, and Burton left the studio soon after.

Disney reconsidered the project after Burton’s subsequent success with Batman and Beetlejuice, and Burton committed to creating a full-length, stop-motion feature film adaptation with Henry Selick as director.

Sally, a Frankenstein’s monster-like figure and Jack Skellington’s love interest, was Eilish’s most recent role in The Nightmare Before Christmas live concert experience held at the Banc of California Stadium (shared by YouTube user lucid). Eilish, who was introduced to the stage by Danny Elfman, the film’s composer and Jack’s original singing voice, sang an incredible rendition of “Sally’s Song” in full costume.
