Pretty Little Liars actress, Lucy Hale and The Bachelor star, Colton Underwood are reportedly dating.
This Friday, TMZ posted a photo of the two on a hike together in Los Angeles. It was claimed that Lucy and the former NFL player have had several ‘casual hike dates’ over the past few weeks and also have mutual friends.
Hence it won’t seem surprising that Hale reached out to Underwood shortly after his breakup with The Bachelor’s Cassie Randolph.
Like most Bachelor relationships, drama is always round the corner. News of Hale and Underwood’s supposed casual romance comes nearly two months after Underwood’s public breakup.
Colton-Cassie Split
The Bachelor couple, who found love on Season 23, announced on May 29, that they had decided to part ways after being together for nearly two years. In their respective Instagram posts, both of them explained that they were “meant to be friends” and that they intended to “remain a part of each other’s lives,” adding that there was still a lot of love and affection between them. At first, It seemed like the two parted ways amicably. However, things have now taken a dramatic turn.
“A lot changed this week”
It all started when Underwood called out his ex for appearing on The Bachelor: GOAT and talking publicly about their split. He wrote an Instagram post saying, “When our relationship ended, we agreed to handle things as privately as possible as we attempted to navigate our new relationship as friends,” Cassie said. “I chose to do that since we were living in this interim period, but obviously a lot changed this week.”
“Do what you want, but please do not have a double standard”
In response, Randolph claimed that Underwood was attempting to “monetize” their breakup. In a series of Instagram Stories, Cassie claimed that it was actually him who violated their agreement. “It seems you are subtly engaging in a tactic that peppers in aggressive comments such as, ‘that obviously changed this week,’ in order to make me look like the bad one,” she wrote. “Colton, you can do what you want, but please do not have a double standard.”
By the looks of it, the estranged couple will not be getting back together, and an insider source confirmed the same.“He is moving on as much as he can, has been dating and is excited about this new chapter,” the source said. “There is no chance that Colton and Cassie will get back together.”
“I feel more single than ever”
Lucy, who was last linked to Ryan Rottman, recently revealed in an interview that the lockdown has impacted her love life.
“I feel more single than ever, but it’s fine. If anything during this time it’s taught [me]. Because I’ve done the whole thing basically alone and I used to hate being alone. I feel the only way I’m gonna date someone next is if they make my life better because I’m so happy right now having my own routine.
The actress also confirmed that she’s on a dating site, but she’s been “too nervous” to meet up with anyone. She pointed out that she isn’t willing to settle ‘for anything less’ than her dream man. The actress confessed she’s done dating insecure men and is looking for someone confident, who’s comfortable in their own skin, and is genuinely a good person.

Speaking of good guys, Lucy actually did admit that Colton was one, back in 2018. Hale, a fan of the Bachelor franchise did give Underwood a nod of approval when he was first cast as the lead on the popular reality show.
“He’s wholesome, He’s a good guy it seems like,” she said in an 2018 interview. “He’s really beautiful to watch.”
