Carrie’s New Best Friend Is Revealed In The Sex & The City Reboot

And Just Like That…, the forthcoming Sex and the City reboot, has published another sneak peek photograph, this time featuring a new member of the cast. The original Sex and the City, based on Candace Bushnell’s 1997 novel of the same name, launched on HBO in 1998 and followed the friendship of four women and their love relationships.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon starred in the series. Nixon and Parker won Emmy Awards for their roles in the show, and it was the first cable show to win Outstanding Comedy Series in 2001.

Sex and the City was one of the first shows to focus on women’s sex life, and two feature films based on the show were released in 2008 and 2010. The series will be revived on HBO Max, and a new chapter will be added to the franchise.

Parker, Nixon, and Davis are all reprising their roles from the first film, but Cattrall (and, by extension, Samantha) is not. The male counterparts of the three ladies, Chris Noth, Evan Handler, and David Eigenberg, as well as John Corbett, Mario Cantone, Willie Garson, and the newly added Sara Ramirez, all return in the revival.

Sarah Jessica Parker shared the first full cast photo from the set of And Just Like That… on social media, which includes newbie Nicole Ari Parker. Ari Parker, who has been in a number of television shows including Soul Food, Empire, and Chicago P.D., plays Lisa Todd Wexley.

When the reboot of Sex and the City starts, it will be wonderful to watch what kind of character Lisa Todd Wexley turns out to be. When the show initially aired, it broke new ground in terms of portraying female sexuality at a time when few shows did.

It will also study the evolution of gender politics and sexual identities with the rebirth of production. And Just Like That… is yet to be given a release date, but fans may look forward to the latest addition to the group.

It’ll be fascinating to watch how she contributes to the remake and how the characters handle modern society as they get older.
